Elections 2024 live updates: Biden to mark 70th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education

President Biden plans to meet at the White House on Thursday with plaintiffs and their family members from the landmark Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education and related cases. Justices ruled in 1954 that segregating children in public schools on the basis of race was unconstitutional. Biden also plans to deliver a speech Friday at an NAACP event marking the 70th anniversary of the ruling.
