Patrick Beverley apologizes after chucking ball at fans, rebuffing journalist

After an eventful night, Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley apologized to ESPN producer Malinda Adams for refusing to be interviewed by her following the Bucks’ season-ending loss to Indiana on Thursday night. Late in that game, Beverley threw a basketball at fans behind the Bucks’ bench.

During the team’s postgame media availability, the 12-year veteran asked Adams whether she subscribes to his podcast, “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone,” to which Adams said she does not. Beverley then told Adams that she wouldn’t be allowed to interview him, then later moved Adams’s microphone away from his face and asked her to leave the scrum around Beverley’s locker.
