Ronald Acuña Jr.’s season is over with a torn left ACL

Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr., the unanimous National League MVP in 2023, is done for the season. He suffered “a complete tear of the ACL in his left knee” during Sunday’s 8-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Braves announced late Sunday night.

Acuña will undergo surgery to repair the ACL and won’t return this year, the Braves added.
