Washington’s USL Super League women’s soccer team gets a name: DC Power FC

The new women’s pro soccer team in Washington now has a name, a logo, a club president and a coach but still no players, general manager or schedule.

DC Power Football Club is slated to launch in August as a founding member of the USL Super League, an eight-team circuit that will compete with the well-established National Women’s Soccer League.
